When the weather turns cloudy or guests are many, Eskom does serve as a gentle backup, ensuring balance between comfort and conservation. It's our quiet commitment to eco-friendly accommodation in the Eastern Cape.

Pure Mountain Water, Untouched and Unmatched

Water here tastes like it should, crisp, clean, slightly sweet and chemical-free. Our fountain water flows directly from the source, naturally filtered and full of life. Guests continually say it's the most delicious water they've ever had!

Behind the scenes, our French septic tank system ensures all waste water returns safely to the earth. It's our way of protection the purity of our streams and the fragile ecosystems they sustain.

Food with Integrity

We believe that good food tells a story, one of care, patience, and respect. Our pasture-fed, free-range eggs and organically raised chickens are proof that food grown slowly and naturally tastes better: moist, tender, and full of flavour.

We're also cultivating an organic vegetable and herb garden, the start of our upcoming farm-to-table experience. Soon, guests will be able to pick fresh ingredients straight from the soil and taste Leliekloof's landscape on their plates.

We live by a simple principle: nothing in nature goes to waste. Organic scraps are composted, glass and plastic are recycled, and materials are lovingly repurposed, from hand-built stone pathways to reclaimed wooden furniture.

Leliekloof is home to one of South Africa's finest rock art sites, and we're proud keepers of this irreplaceable heritage. Through guided tours, we share the stories of the San/ KhoeKhoe people while ensuring their art remains protected for generations to come.
