Nestled in the tranquil Stormberg Mountains, Leliekloof Lodge lies in a valley once named the “Valley of Art” by South African artist Walter Battiss, a sanctuary where nature and creativity meet.

 

Stay in the beautifully restored farmhouse (sleeps 8) or the charming Rondavel (sleeps 4), each offering warmth, comfort, and understated luxury. Days invite exploration, reflection, and rest; evenings unfold by the fire beneath endless stars.

 

At 1,800 metres above sea level, the air is cool and refreshing year-round, so pack warm layers and comfortable shoes. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended for the scenic journey into this peaceful mountain retreat.

Within the main farm house, there are 2 large ensuite bedrooms, with a large 22m open plan living/ dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. ​​

  • Room 2: Large bedroom with a Double bed and a bunk bed (3/4), ensuite bathroom facilities

  • Main open plan living/dining room is 22 meters long offering a large sitting area, yellow wood pub, an Alpine fireplace and large dining room

  • There's a separate spacious fully equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer, gas oven and hob, microwave and a dishwasher
