Below you'll find answers to the most common questions you may have on Leliekloof Lodge's holiday accommodation. If you did not find the answer you're looking for, just Contact us!



What is included with my self-catering booking?

  • All bedding and bath towels are provided, please note you must bring your own swimming towels

  • Electric blankets on all beds in winter

  • Fully equipped kitchen with a gas oven, combined fridge freezer, microwave and a dishwasher

  • Weber / braai area

  • One roll of toilet paper per bathroom

What are your check-in and check-out times?

  • Check-in at 2pm

  • Check-out at 10am

Do you offer any cleaning services?

  • Cleaning services are available by prior arrangement at an additional fee

  • While we appreciate guests are on holiday, you are expected to look after the property during your stay and leave it in a similar condition to how you found it

  • We expect guests to wash up, put away any dishes, empty the fridge and food cupboards before leaving

What activities are available for me to do?

There are plenty of activities and experiences to enjoy such as:

  • Guided Rock Art Excursions - from R150pp

  • Fishing (Bass & Carp) - from R50pp/ rod

  • Bird watching

  • Cycling

  • Walking/ hiking

  • Wild swimming

  • Rock climbing

  • Canoeing, kayaking, SUP (equipment not provided)

  • Relaxing next to beautiful, peaceful scenery

  • Plenty of books and board games available

What type of cars are suitable for your (gravel) roads?

To reach us, we recommend vehicles with high ground clearance or 4x4 such as Bakkies, Everest, Fortuner, and or SUV's.

Are pets allowed?

  • We welcome your furry family member as our guest at R100 per pet per night

  • For the safety and comfort of ALL our guests, employees and visitors, our guests must agree and follow our pet terms & conditions available here

Do you provide braai wood?

We do not provide you with free braai wood, you may however purchase braai wood by the bag, charcoal and or blitz at additional costs.

Do you provide wood for the fireplace?

We offer complimentary logs for the Alpine fireplace to get you cosy and settled in. You can purchase more fireplace wood per bag at an additional fee.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel:

  • More than 1 month before check-in, 100% deposit refunded

  • More than 1 week before check-in, 50% deposit refunded

  • Less than 1 week before check-in, 0% deposit refunded

What is your booking policy?

  • 50% deposit is payable on bookings for more than 1 night's stay

  • If your arrival at time of booking is only 7 days away, then full amount is payable

  • 100% payment is required for 1 night's stay and is non-refundable

  • Conditions applying to your booking:

Leliekloof Lodge reserves the right to charge the guest for any additional services needed to return the property to the state it was in upon arrival. For example: broken or missing items, extreme filth, damages and mistreatment of property.
